Hey there!

We're Jasmine and Jacob Charbonneau, the creative couple behind Charby & Co. As lovers of life, we admire all the moments, big and small, that make up the stories of our lives, we believe they are all stories worth sharing, but we have a special weakness for a good love story, here's a little bit about ours.

Jasmine: a Californian through and through born for adventure and famously never sits still has been capturing couples since third-wheeling in high school then quickly fell in love with photographing weddings over 8 years ago. She then fell in love with Jacob almost 5 years ago.

During this wild thing called the pandemic in March of 2020, wedding photographer Jasmine downloaded bumble in her empty midtown Sacramento apartment to pass some time. There she came across Jacob, a Minnesotan news videographer who's bio mentioned wanting to live in a tiny home. We quickly bonded over our love of travel and Mamma Mia, never expecting to meet in real life. That was, until Jasmine found a dog to adopt on Craigslist and needed a safety buddy to join her on the drive. The rest is history. 

We stayed in Sacramento until family and a new job opportunity for Jacob moved us to Minnesota where we realized just how much the 9-5 lifestyle isn’t for us. Once Jacob achieved his first Emmy win, we knew it was time to make the transition from part-time wedding videographer to full-time photo and video duo as we travel the country in our converted camper van.
